Skimeh Congratulates Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle on Appointment As SWDC’s Executive Director

The chairman of the House of Representatives committee on the South West Development Commission(SWDC), Prince Akeem Adeyemi, has congratulated Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle over his appointment as the executive director of the newly created SWDC.
In his special release issued this morning, Hon. Adeyemi stated that “the appointment of Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle – a seasoned and well-tested administrator – aligns with the developmental visions of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.” He lauded the president for giving speedy approval for the creation of development commissions for the six geo-political zones and for using his magnetic lens to identify seasoned democrats and exemplary administrators to form the commission ‘s memberships.
“There’s no doubt that Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle’s experience as a former personal assistant to late Governor Lam Adesina, special adviser on politics to late Governor Abiola Ajimobi and other managerial experiences garnered over the years makes him suitable to represent Oyo State as a member of the board,” Adeyemi noted.
Hon. Adeyemi, while appreciating the President for counting an illustrious indigene of Oyo State worthy of the deserving appointment, prayed to God to grant Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle the wisdom to perform creditably well in office.
While concluding, Adeyemi assured Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle of his support in his capacity as the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on theSouth West Development Commission towards bettering the lives of the people of Oyo State and the South West in general.
