IBADANLAND: Oloye ‘Sina Alabi Congratulates Chief Akinade Fijabi over Chieftaincy Elevation

Ibadan-born business magnate and influential politician, Oloye ‘Sina Alabi has congratulated the newly installed Ekefa Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Ismaila Akinade Fijabi.
Chief Akinade Fijabi was promoted from Agbaakin Olubadan to Ekefa Olubadan due to the vacancy created by the death of the former occupant of the title, Ekefa Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senior Chief Yekinni Ayoade Adeojo.
The Chairman and Chief Executiver (CEO) of Shortollab Int’l Company Ltd, Ibadan, Alabi, expressed his congratulatory message to Fijabi through a press release issued and made available to journalists in the early hours of yesterday.
According to the notable philanthropist Alabi , Aare Alaasa Olubadan, the title conferred on Chief Fijabi is a reputable position that he genuinely deserved from His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin.
Alabi further stated that Fijabi, through the current position in the arrangement of the Ibadanland Traditional Council, has been elevated in order to engage him more for the development of the ancient city.
“I sincerely thank my father and Kabiesi, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Dr) Olakulehin, for bestowing on Chief Ismaila Akinade Fijabi the Ekefa Olubadan position. I pray that His Imperial Majesty lives longer and healthier. I equally pray for more divine favour and guidance for Chief Fijabi. Once again, congratulations, Baba Oloye Tuntun,” Alabi submitted.
