IBADAN: Dr Buhari Congratulates Senator Folarin over Chieftaincy Elevation As Aare Alaasa Olubadan

The senator representing the good people of Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr Buhari Omotayo Buhari, has congratulated the newly installed Aare Alaasa Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin.

Dr Buhari expressed his congratulatory message to Senator Folarin through a press release issued and made available to journalists in the early hours of today.

According to the lawmaker, the Aare Alaasa Olubadan, the title conferred on Senator Folarin is a reputable position that he genuinely deserved from His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin, following his selfless commitments to serving humanity through his former position as Ikolaba Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Senator Buhari further stated that Senator Folarin, through the current position in the arrangement of the Ibadanland Traditional Council, has been elevated in order to engage him more for the development of the ancient city.

“I sincerely thank our royal father, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Dr.) Olakulehin, for giving my friend, Senator Folarin, the next position of Aare Alaasa Olubadan that he deserves without any prejudice. While I pray that His Imperial Majesty lives longer and healthier, I equally pray for more divine favour and guidance for Senator Folarin so that Ibadanland can enjoy him more and more,” Senator Buhari prayed.
