Engr Idris Adeoye Pays Tribute to Late Governor Abiola Ajimobi on 75th Posthumous Birthday

Engr. Idris Adeoye, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, pays glowing tribute to late Governor Abiola Ajimobi on his 75th posthumous birthday, describing him as a visionary leader and iconic figure in Nigerian politics.

Engr. Adeoye eulogised Senator Ajimobi, who passed away on June 25, 2020, for leaving behind an indelible mark on Oyo State during his tenure as governor from 2011 to 2019. He stated that late Ajimobi’s leadership birthed significant developments in infrastructure, education, and healthcare, earning him the sobriquet “Architect of Modern Oyo State.”.

“As a former senator who represented Oyo South Senatorial District, Ajimobi’s impacts are still felt today. His commitment to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole has been widely acknowledged, Engr. Adeoye stated.

In a statement, Engr. Adeoye described Senator Ajimobi as a great leader whose legacy continues to inspire Nigerians. “As we celebrate his 75th posthumous birthday, we pray Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and continue to rest his soul in Aljanah,” he prayed.
